Our adoption process is simple, but thorough.  It is a 5-step process.
  1. Application - Fill out the application and submit it to us via e-mail or e-mail.
  2. A vet and personal reference check will be done.
  3. A home visit will be scheduled with either the Director, Asst. Director, or an adoption counselor.
  4. Contract - This is usually signed during the home visit.
  5. Your new baby comes home to live!

I/We understand that approval of such application is solely at the discretion of LASTR, and that any false information given or omissions in this application or during the required home visit is immediate cause for rejection.

I/We also give permission to have an agent come into my/our home at a time and date agreed upon in advance for the purpose of establishing that the home, in his/her opinion, would be a suitable environment in which to place an adopted animal. I/We understand LASTR under no obligation to give me/us an explanation should my/our application not be approved.
